Our Illuminating Intense Serum supports natural collagen production and promotes skin renewal, improving its tone and texture. It helps lock in healthy moisture to restore a smoother and firmer looking skin.
A bespoke blend of antioxidants including Baobab, Pomegranate, Rosehip and Moringa works to protect the skin from oxidative stress, brightens and evens skin tone to reveal a visibly radiant complexion. Its highly active components work together to restore the natural barrier and resilience of the skin: leaving it plumped, supple and healthy-looking.

Active Ingredients:
Baobab Oil has one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants, being at the same time a substantial source of vitamin A; antioxidants eliminate harmful toxins, while vitamin A helps build collagen fibers within the dermis and exfoliates more superficial layers of the skin: a synergic action that minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Baobab Oil is also rich in Omega 3, 6, and 9 and Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs): EFAs are natural penetration enhancers, due to their fluidizing effect on cell membranes: this ability creates a synergistic effect with other nutrients such as vitamins.  EFAs help improve the structure, function and appearance of aging skin, leaving it feel firmer by boosting its elasticity and reversing tissue damage.
Extremely rich in vitamins A, D, E and F: it gives the skin a vitamin-boost meaning your skin not only looks better but IS actually healthier. Easily absorbed without clogging pores, it’s excellent for all skin types.
Pomegranate seed oil is rich in Antioxidants, which promote skin elasticity and regeneration. Its high content of Vitamin A, C, E and K stimulates the skin to reverse tissue damage and vitamin C in particular helps boost collagen production, improving its elasticity and firmness. Pomegranate seed oil penetrates deeply into the skin helping channel nutrients directly into the cells, accelerating the process of cellular regeneration and rejuvenation. It stimulates “keratinocytes”, major cells found in the outer layer of the skin, helping revive skin and reveal a more youthful appearance. It contains a unique polyunsaturated fat: punicic acid, an omega 5 fatty acid, which has strong anti-inflammatory properties, calming irritation and redness.
Rosehip Seed Oil is rich in Retinoic Acid and vitamin A, which act together to promote regeneration of damaged tissue, soften wrinkles, reduce scars and hyperpigmentation. Its Vitamins A, C, E and Beta-carotene are all antioxidants that help fight free radicals and boost collagen production. It improves the skin’s flexibility and permeability and helps it repair itself thanks to its chemical structure rich in essential fatty acids: Oleic, Palmitic, Linoleic, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) and Vitamin F. When absorbed through the skin, these fatty acids convert to prostaglandins (PGE), which are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration.
Moringa Oil’s powerful antioxidants combined with its high oleic acid content (more than 70%) allow to bring its vital nutrients deep into facial tissue and strengthen the overall health of skin cells, inhibiting activities of free radicals on the skin. Its high collagen content helps rebuild the skin collagen fibers, promoting elasticity and firmness. Moringa contains thousands of times more Zeatin than any other plant: the most potent among plant hormones. It promotes cellular growth and delays the aging process by postponing the
death of cells and destruction of tissues.
Olive Squalane contains a unique antioxidant that protects the skin from free-radical damage. Early in life, our bodies produce a small amount of squalene, however as we reach our 20s its production begins to decline. Squalane encourages cell turnover and increases collagen production and moisture retention, it creates a barrier between the skin and the environment so that the skin can better retain moisture as it protects the external layer of the epidermis. Non-comedogenic, does not clog pores.
Jojoba Oil is an all-natural moisturizer which absorbs easily into the skin, delivering instant hydration and providing a substantial long-acting 24-hour skin hydration effect. It contains nutrients like vitamin B and E, antioxidants as well as minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc, which all nourish and protect skin from the effects of aging and help reducing the appearance of scars, stimulating collagen synthesis. Jojoba Oil is a natural anti-inflammatory so it keeps skin calm and comfortable.

It’s easily absorbed and leaves the skin feeling soft and supple, is particularly effective for treating dry skin and helping to create a more youthful appearance. Also non-comedogenic, does not clog pores, helping oily skins to naturally rebalance sebum production.

Our Illuminating Intense Serum is not a water based serum.
We chose instead to pack it with highly active ingredients that truly nourish the skin: a little really goes a long way!

Directions
Our advice is to use a very small amount of Illuminating Intense Serum to start with and increase the quantity, if your skin seems to need more: oily skins usually want very little product, dry skins might need more and may absorb it quicker.
Skin types change according to the weather, too: you might experience oilier skin in the summer and dryer skin on windy days. No need for two separate products: just fine tune the quantity you use with the needs of your skin in that particular moment.

We recommend using a bit more product in the evening, right before bedtime: skin cell renewal rate is higher at night and the nourishing oils will help your skin regenerate itself, naturally.

If using our Gentle Purifying Cleansing Oil or Deeply Purifying Cleansing Balm in synergy with our Illuminating Intense Serum, you might notice your skin going towards a more neutral type as both products work to rebalance the skin’s oil production.
